Is Sham (Sem/Shem) the true Blood-Line paternal forefather of Jacob and of his descendants the Israelites? Are the Hebrews and Israelites really Blood-Line descendants of Sham (Sem/Shem)?
Let’s consider these questions :
According to the text of the Septuagint (LXX) genealogies, Sham (Sem/Shem) had six (6) sons.

…Now, anyone who gives any reasonable consideration of who the person named CAINAN actually is in GENESIS 10: 22 and -GENESIS 10: 24 of the text of the Septuagint (LXX) genealogies, and also in –
LUKE 3: 36 of the text of the New Testament (NT) genealogies, would have to consider CANAAN, a son of Ham -GENESIS 10: 6.
Please consider first of all,
THAT CANAAN :
A.) Lived at the appropriate time period.
B.) Was a person of Biblical significance (the land of HIS descendants was promised to the descendants of ‘AbraHam (‘Abram) the Hebrew –
GENESIS 12: 1-7.
C.) For some sexual reason Canaan was cursed by Noah –
GENESIS 9: 25-27.

While the names CAINAN and CANAAN in English look similar, in the Ancient-Hebrew (Canaanite) language they differ, the name Qenan (Cainan) means : Lamentation; and is written in Ancient-Hebrew (Canaanite) letters as : ; and spelled as : Qoph, Yod, Nun, Nun; [QYNN] and pronounced as : Qey-nan.
The name Kena’an (Canaan) means: Servant of servants; and is written in Ancient-Hebrew (Canaanite) letters as : ; and spelled as : Kaph, Nun, A’yin, Nun [KNA’N] and pronounced as : Kenah-an.he name Qenan (Cainan) was in fact his original name. But however, it was changed to Kena’an (Canaan) by his grandfather (Noah), after the -GENESIS 9: 20-25 incident.
1.) Qenan (Cainan) = Lamentation.
2.) Kena’an (Canaan) = Servant of servants.
In the text of the Masoretic genealogies, Cainan’s name has been UNJUSTLY LEFT OUT of it’s genealogies, as THE TRUE BIOLOGICAL (Blood-Line) Paternal father of Sala (Shalah/Shelah), the father of Eber (Heber) who the ancient Hebrews allegedly descend from.
Instead, the Masoretic scribes (who were infact ‘Arameans of Babylon), HAVE MADE Arphaxad appear as the Blood-Line Paternal father of Sala (Shalah/Shelah), by simply leaving Cainan’s name out of the Masoretic genealogical text.
The following Scriptures of the texts of the Masoretic genealogies either state or imply that Arphaxad fathered Sala (Shalah/Shelah) :–

However, -GENESIS 11: 13 of the genealogical texts of the Septuagint (LXX) and -LUKE 3: 35-36 of the texts of the New Testament (NT) genealogies, tells us plainly that Arphaxad fathered Cainan and then some time afterward Cainan fathered Sala (Shalah/Shelah).

It was seventy (70) Canaanite-Hebrews, of Alexandria in Egypt of Africa, who translated the original Ancient-Hebrew (Canaanite) Sacred texts to the Greek language. That translation is called the Septuagint (LXX). Now, Can seventy (70) Canaanite-Hebrews who lived in Egypt of Africa, in anyway be confused about their very own ancestry (genealogical record?) The answer is NO!
These Canaanite-Hebrews of Alexandria in Egypt (of Africa), were actually Hellenists. Hellenistic Canaanite-Hebrews were later also involved in the composition of ‘Ha Berit Ha Khadashah’ (The Alliance The New), or the New Testament (NT).Let us now please consider -GENESIS 11: 10-13; of the genealogical text of the Septuagint (LXX), which reads as follows…
…”And these are the generations of Sem; and Sem was a hundred years old when he begot Arphaxad, the second year after the flood. As clearly seen, the texts of the Masoretic genealogies tells us that Arphaxad fathered Sala (Shalah/Shelah). While the texts of the Septuagint (LXX) and also that of the New Testament (NT) genealogies, tell us that Cainan fathered Sala (Shalah/Shelah).Given the apparent contradiction, how does one resolve the question of who fathered Sala (Shalah/Shelah), the father of Eber (Heber), whom ‘AbraHam (‘Abram) the Hebrew allegedly descended from?
And so, the question still remains, who exactly is this CAINAN who’s name is found recorded in -GENESIS 10: 24 of the text of the Septuagint (LXX) genealogies, and in -LUKE 3: 36 of the text of the New Testament (NT) genealogies? No one else in the whole of the Holy Bible is known by this name, except the Pre-Flood CAINAN who died much earlier -GENESIS 5: 12-14.So, let’s get another witness up in here (as it is required of us) to confirm once and for all who this man was.
Let us now please consider the genealogical text of -THE BOOK OF JUBILEES, which reads as follows:…”In the twenty-ninth jubilee, in the first week, in the beginning thereof Arpachshad took to himself a wife and her name was Rasuejah, the daughter of Susan, the daughter of Elam, and she bare him a son in the third year in this week,and he called his name KAINAM. And the son grew, and his father taught him writing, and he went to seek for himself a place where he might seize for himself a city. And he found a writing which former (generations) had carved on the rock, and he read what was thereon, and he transcribed it and sinned owing to it; for it contained the teaching of the Watchers in accordance with which they used to observe the omens of the sun and moon and stars in all the signs of heaven. And he wrote it down and said nothing regarding it; for he was afraid to speak to Noah about it lest he should be angry with him on account of it. …This is fully accomplished in :1.) -GENESIS 11: 10-13 of the text of the Septuagint (LXX) genealogies.2.) -LUKE 3: 35-36 of the text of the New Testament (NT) genealogies.3.) -JUBILEES 8: 1-9 of the text of the Book Of Jubilees (BOJ) genealogies.
Please understand that God has caused certain details to be revealed to us in the texts of the Septuagint (LXX); New Testament (NT) and Book Of Jubilees (BOJ) genealogies, in order to clarify issues that the text of the Masoretic genealogies have not made immediately apparent. What has not been made apparent in the text of the Masoretic genealogies, is the very fact, that Canaan (Cainan/Kainam) WAS THE TRUE BIOLOGICAL (Blood-Line) FATHER of Sala (Shalah/Shelah) and GRANDFATHER of Eber (Heber), from whom ‘AbraHam (‘Abram), the ‘Abari (Hebrew), allegedly descended from.
