Taking the reader on a travelogue of the Los Angeles area and the State of California. Writing poetry on the boardwalk – “Name me any subject in the word and I’ll write you a poem about it.” The Rodney King riots in 1992; the worst gang violence in the history of LA in Oakwood in 1993; and the Northridge earthquake in 1994. Eventually taking over the management of a two-block section of Venice called Venice Place; opens up an art gallery, In-U-Its Loft on Abbot Kinney Boulevard, what GQ Magazine called ‘The Coolest Block In America’; becomes Rastafari and dreads his hair; and meets a love of his life, the two have a son in Colorado.
